Einblicke in die Nutzung von Entscheidungsunterstützungssystemen nach der Einführung in Milchviehbetrieben: Verständlichkeit, Verlass, Herausforderungen und Chancen

Digitale Entscheidungsunterstützungssysteme (DSS) werden in der Milchviehhaltung zunehmend eingesetzt, doch ist bislang wenig darüber bekannt, wie Landwirte mit diesen Werkzeugen nach der Einführung im Betrieb tatsächlich arbeiten. Diese Studie untersucht die Nutzung nach der Einführung von DSS bei 105 deutschen Milchviehhaltern in den Bereichen Fütterung, Zucht sowie Gesundheit und Klauenpflege. Der Fokus liegt auf der wahrgenommenen Verständlichkeit von DSS-Empfehlungen und möglichen Zusammenhängen damit, wie stark sich Landwirte beim Treffen von Entscheidungen auf DSS verlassen. Anhand einer bundesweiten Online-Umfrage kombinieren wir deskriptive Statistik, Spearman-Korrelationen mit Benjamini-Hochberg-Korrektur, multivariable Regression und qualitative Analysen, ergänzt durch eine Sensitivitätsanalyse zur Überprüfung der Robustheit. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass DSS vor allem zur strukturierten Überwachung genutzt werden, während ihre Rolle bei urteilsbasierten Entscheidungen begrenzt ist. Die wahrgenommene Verständlichkeit von DSS korreliert in allen drei Bereichen durchweg mit dem Verlass auf DSS, wobei die multivariable Regression bestätigt, dass dieser Zusammenhang unabhängig von soziodemografischen Faktoren besteht. Bildungshintergrund, Betriebsgröße und wirtschaftliche Abhängigkeit von der Milchviehhaltung korrelieren auf bivariater Ebene ebenfalls mit beiden Konstrukten. Qualitatives Feedback aus der Umfrage gibt Aufschluss über wiederkehrende Herausforderungen im Umgang mit DSS, darunter mangelnde Interoperabilität, unklare Empfehlungen und Diskrepanzen zwischen DSS-Empfehlungen und Beobachtungen im Betrieb. Insgesamt stuft unsere Studie die Verständlichkeit von DSS als den wirksamsten Hebel zur Steigerung des praktischen Nutzens ein, während die Interoperabilität als die am häufigsten genannte Herausforderung wahrscheinlich eine branchenübergreifende Koordination und regulatorische Unterstützung erfordert.
